Tagging pulls files you’ve already saved to Mesa directly into a conversation. Unlike one-off attachments, tagged files live in your Mesa library, so you can reuse the same documents across as many conversations as you like without re-uploading them.
Tag a file in a conversation
Open the chat box
Go to the Home page or New Conversation page.
Open the file picker
Click the @ symbol at the bottom-left of the chat box, or type @ directly and select Select from my files. Choose your file
Select the file you want Mesa to reference.
Finish your prompt
Continue typing and send your message. Mesa uses the tagged file in its response.
Working with a document you won’t need again? Use an attachment instead. To organize the files you can tag, see Files.
