# Export a conversation

> Save a conversation as a clean PDF transcript you can file, share, or attach.

When a conversation reaches a useful conclusion, you can save it as a PDF. The export is a clean transcript (your prompts and the agent's responses) without the agent's internal reasoning or tool activity, so it reads like a finished record.

## Save a conversation as PDF

Open the conversation and scroll to the agent's latest response. A **Print** button sits just below it, on the right.

</Frame>

Click **Print**. Mesa renders the transcript in the background and downloads the PDF automatically when it's ready; there's nothing else to do. The button shows a spinner while the export runs.

<Note>
  The Print button appears only once the agent has finished responding. If the agent is still working, let it complete and the button will appear.
</Note>

<Tip>
  Export works for [incognito](/incognito) conversations too, giving you a way to keep a copy of a private conversation before it drops out of your history.
